Leading Permanent Make-Up Genius Karen Betts Joins Forces With The Katie Piper Foundation

Leading Permanent Make-Up Genius Karen Betts Joins Forces With The Katie Piper Foundation

Karen Betts, the No.1 permanent make-up beautician in the UK, is delighted to announce a new collaboration with The Katie Piper Foundation which will see her become their official and exclusive permanent make-up consultant for 2012.

Katie Piper and her Foundation are well known in the UK for their charitable work which aims to make life easier for people living with burns and scars. Katie’s ambition is to help others in their quest to feel confident again in spite of their scars; and strives to recommend and provide a network of the best treatments and technicians available for fellow sufferers.

Karen Betts is one of the first in this growing network for the Foundation.  Karen has personally worked with Katie Piper as she recovered from an acid attack in 2008 and, over a twelve month process, recreated Katie’s lips, brows and eye definition.  This personal and professional relationship developed from then and resulted in Karen offering her expert skills and services in four clinic locations countrywide – including London’s prestigious Harley Street - to help survivors look and feel attractive again and hopefully help improve the lives of people living with facial disfigurements.

Karen Betts is renowned across the world for her expertise in permanent make-up and after progressing into medical tattooing she became officially BUPA registered in 2006.  After individuals have experienced physically deforming conditions in their lives, Karen can literally tattoo back on their confidence to the affected areas.

It is testament to Karen’s skills to be officially affiliated which such a reputable charity as The Katie Piper Foundation. Karen’s work is unprecedented in both the beauty and medical sector - she has worked incredibly hard to build her own business empire – Nouveau Beauty Group - which through her Nouveau Contour Training School has now trained thousands of other individuals in her specialised permanent make-up skills.

Karen Betts says: “I am more than delighted to have collaborated with Katie and her fantastic charity, The Katie Piper Foundation. I have come to build up both an incredibly personal and professional relationship with Katie after performing a number of procedures for her at my Harley Street clinic following her acid attack. This partnership allows me to use my skills as a permanent make-up artist to continue to make a difference to people’s lives affected by burns and scars.”

Katie Piper says: “I’m so pleased that Karen has offered her expertise to help other survivors feel more confident about themselves. She has a great passion and determination to help change people’s lives and I’m delighted that she’s able to help the Foundation.”

Katie Piper the extraordinary woman behind ‘Katie: My Beautiful Face’ and the Katie Piper Foundation is an inspiration to us all.

She has rebuilt her life after suffering a brutal acid attack. Katie now campaigns through her foundation [click here to visit the Katie Piper Foundation website] to improve rehabilitation facilities for burns victims, while also providing a network of support and information on burns, scars and treatment.
